Plain terms for a plain platform. This agreement governs your use of Værft. If you create an account, you accept it — so it is written to be read.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between Værft ApS, Ryesgade 3, 2200 København N, Denmark, CVR 43 27 19 44 (“Værft”, “we”, “us”) and you, the person or company creating an account (“you”, the “Customer”). They govern your access to and use of the Værft deployment platform, including the dashboard, APIs, CLI, build and runtime infrastructure, managed storage, and related services (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for safeguarding credentials, API tokens, and connected git-provider access. Enable two-factor authentication; tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect a compromise.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use the Service.
Værft builds, deploys, and runs the applications you connect to it, and provisions related resources such as databases, storage, custom domains, and preview environments. We may improve, extend, or change the Service over time. If we discontinue a material capability you actively use, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable.
Beta or preview features are labelled as such and are provided as-is; they may change or disappear without notice and are excluded from any availability commitments.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We may suspend or limit workloads that endanger the platform or other customers. Where practical we will notify you and give you a chance to remedy the issue first.
You keep all rights to the code, data, and content you deploy or store on the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant us the limited licence needed to host, build, run, back up, and transmit it — solely to operate the Service. We process personal data inside Customer Content as your processor under the Data Processing Agreement.
You are responsible for Customer Content: that you have the rights to use it, and that it complies with the law and these Terms.
Free plans are free. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the prices shown on the pricing page, plus applicable VAT or other taxes. Usage-based charges, where applicable, are billed in arrears. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we never store full card numbers.
Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable. If a charge fails and remains unpaid after reasonable notice, we may downgrade or suspend the affected account.
Plan quotas (build minutes, deployments, storage, and similar) are described on the pricing page. We may enforce them by warning, throttling, or blocking further usage.
We operate the Service with care, monitor it continuously, and take scheduled backups of platform data. Unless a separate written SLA says otherwise, the Service is provided without an uptime guarantee. Maintenance windows and incidents are communicated via the status page.
Backups of your databases are a convenience, not a substitute for your own disaster recovery. Keep independent copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your usage creates a security or legal risk, or if an invoice remains unpaid after notice.
On termination we will make Customer Content available for export for 30 days, unless the law or the reason for termination prevents it. After that period we delete it in the ordinary course of operations.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law: neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data; and our total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the dashboard. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept them; if you do not agree, cancel before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by Danish law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark — except that consumers may rely on mandatory protections and venues of their home country.
